Decided to add a few more features before I release the source. The first of which is a basic sidebar widget showing the year to date statistics.

Seems there will be a slight issue with the release in that 12 seconds of source footage has been lost. The solution has been to use an "upconverted from Standard Definition videotape" instead.

Doesn't sound like the end of the world but I'm sure there will be many who will want perfection!

Have a lot of sympathy with these comments. I also have same system with apparent 'software' issues with the DVD player, for instance it will not eject or power down correctly when the audio is connected to the receiver either using the remote or front buttons - very strange & frustrating.

Just checked the route and annoyed to report that my circuit was 2 miles short of the 97 mile total. So the day ends on a bit of further low with 95 miles the distance achieved.

If you've been living under a rock of late you'll not be aware that to the world's utter disbelief the release date has since slipped to June.

Further issue with the DVD player. It had stopped reading any DVDs - finally displaying "No Disc" after whirring around for a bit. I took it apart and saw a small plastic cog in the bottom of the unit. It came from the DVD head drive motor spindle so without it, the head wasn't able to move. I had to strip out the complete drive from the casing in order to gain access to the spindle but after 20 minutes the DVD player is once again working!

Unfortunately round 2 (Japan) has been postponed until later in the year. The ICAL feed has been updated to reflect the expected date.
