Just read (http://www.replaygamesinc.com/blog/2011/06/replay-games-aquires-the-rights-to-leisure-suit-larry/) that the rights to “Leisure Suit Larry” have been obtained and the 1st game is a remake of the 1st game. Odd choice but I would assume that means it’ll be a new version for new devices (games running on a phone OS seem to be the order of the day for these re-workings).
Al is reported to be involved though his web site does not confirm this.

I should have really finished the content on my site way before now so don’t expect miracles for coverage of this one

If you’re into retro games then you’ll surely be aware of Roland’s MT32 MIDI synthesizer. Sierra used this device to great effect in a number of their adventure games.
There’s quite a bit of history to the project (this is, in effect, its 3rd life) and as such it’s the best yet. Check this thread on VOGONS for download details.

“It” being the long awaited release of Duke Nukem Forever. Scheduled for early May (6th in Europe) the game now being completed by Gearbox software (I hope they don’t make a hash of it) and not 3D Realms (who did seem to be making a hash of it!) has been voted top vapour ware title for the past decade or so! Looks like that award might finally be offered to another deserving product!

Normal service has once again resumed – apologies for the delay! I’ve still got some things to do on a few pages (such as the forum) but the game content is as it was (i.e. still not complete!).
