Why the Hearn Garage?

Shortly after moving into our new house, I discussed the possibility of a self-build extension. Lorraine was keen (we both had no real idea what we were getting into!) so we put some thoughts down. As you can see from the extension related material on the site, it took a while but we did eventually end up with exactly what we set out to do.

The site was really provided as a small presence on the web showing off my progress on the extension. I’ve actually had an Internet presence for a number of years before the focus shift but it was very basic (Word, File-Save As level of design).
