If you have been living under a rock for the past couple of weeks you may not be aware that a Kickstarter project is under-way to fund a new game from Tim Schafer & Ron Gilbert (that’s the well-known people behind Monkey Island). For a mere $15 you can support Double Fine in their quest to produce an old school (2d, hand painted) adventure game whilst documenting the whole process and receive a copy of the game on release.

With Tim & Ron behind it expectations are naturally high. So high in fact that their funding total is now 5 times over the original goal and still counting.

Even though the start of the 2012 seasons seems a long way off I’ve updated the calendar feed with details of the 2012 season’s events. This year I’ve also added entries for the Free Practise sessions and corrected a couple of locations that were missing from last year.

Existing users of my calendar should receive updates the next time you synchronise with the feed. If you’re new to it, you need an iCalendar compliant application (I use Outlook from Microsoft Office for example) to register the calendar feed. Once added, any changes/corrections should be synchronised automatically to your local calendar.

All entries use local time with a timezone adjustment. Whilst all entries should be accurate (I take data from the official MotoGP web site), please drop me a line if you spot any mistakes.

2011 was remembered perhaps not for Stoner’s domination on the Honda but for the sad loss of Marco Simoncelli. Let’s hope 2012 provides a great season of racing!
